Wesley Fruge Directs Grief Dialogues Debut
Wesley Fruge has been Creative Advisor for The Grief Dialogues from the start. He is also the Founder + Producing Artistic Director of Forward Flux Productions. We are incredibly lucky he is directing our Seattle Death Salon play Grief Dialogues.
In his own words
“I am very passionate about “The Grief Dialogues” because I think it’s a dialogue we NEED to have as a country. Watching a personal family member slowly fade has made me re-think death and dying. I’m excited to be a part of a project that will bring this important conversation to the stage.”
Wesley’s Theatre Work
Currently, he directs “No More Sad Things.” He’s also producing the world premiere of “las mariposas Y los muertos” with Forward Flux. Wesley conceived and directed The Flux Salon series which brings readings of new plays to intimate spaces throughout Seattle (20 Salons held to date). Elsewhere, he has directed for 14/48’s Thunderdome at Cafe Nordo. He assistant directed “Silence” at Stages Rep in Houston, and worked as a teaching artist for the Alley Theatre. Wesley performs on stages across the country. His select credits include “West Side Story” (Little Theater on the Square), “Guys and Dolls” (Prather Entertainment Group), “A Christmas Carol” (National Tour), and “Neither Heaven Nor Earth” (Off Broadway).
